It's been a big week

This week has been end of the year program week for the kids. I LOVE this time of year!!! Seeing my sweet kids up on stage singing their hearts out....it melts my heart and usually makes me cry. This is from Keira's program. The theme was 'Armor of God' and they recited Ephesians 6:10-11. They sang Onward Christian Soldiers, I'm in the Lord's Army, and this song - Armor of Go-o-o-od. Too cute!! Curt and I were dying laughing, I had tears rolling down my face, both because it was so adorable and so funny. Keira is in the front row in the middle wearing a red shirt.

This is Keira's friend Emily. They are best buds at school.

This is Mrs. O, Keira's teacher. She is THE BEST teacher for Keira. She loves her kids so much. She calls her kids her "chickens" and especially loves Keira for her sassiness. She says Keira is "spicy" not sassy. I think it sounds a little bit better that way - LOL. I love Keira's attitude and abundant personality and it's wonderful that she has a teacher who also appreciates it.

Cade's Kindergarten Celebration was on Tuesday. They sang several songs including one called "Tony Chestnutt" (really toe-knee chest-nut (head)) and this one "I'm a Kindergarten Cutie-pie." He got his kindergarted cap and gown pictures a few weeks ago and I can already envision him graduating from high school. Where did my sweet baby Cade go? He's so big and grown up, it amazes me every day. Yep, you guessed it, I had tears in my eyes again!

Cade is in the back row on the right in a green polo shirt. I was a little slow in starting the video, so you missed "I'm a kindergarten cutie, cutie-pie (cutie-pie) and I'll be one until I die (til I die)..."

La-La-Land

This is Keira's tap routine. So sweet!

Tiny Dancer

I know, I know...it's been a while. Sorry!! I do plan on making up for it with this post, these pics are ADORABLE!! Keira had her dance recital today and it was so stinking cute, to quote her father! See for yourself.

I wasn't sure how Keira would do since most of the classes she spent goofing off or spinning in circles. However, after our dress rehearsal last week, I knew she'd be great! I did her makeup that morning, put her in her costume, and let her look at herself in the mirror. She did a little turn and said "I'm so beautiful!" I know it girl, even without the makeup and sequins you are so beautiful to me!!

She did great at the recital, we were soooo proud of her. She did go a little guitar solo crazy during the tap routine, so Uncle Greg should be proud :) Margaret posted a video of the ballet routine on her blog, so I'll post the tap routine on mine. Please ignore Curt's loud laughing...he was just amazed at how cute it all was. (okay, so it was mildly humorous too. LOL) I'm done with school on Thursday (Praise God!!), so I should be much better about updating soon. Love you all!!!
