A little shout out to my sis and her man...

Today is Lonnie and Margaret's 5 year anniversary! They are spending a nice weekend away, which means we get to spend the weekend with Ethan. I think it's a win-win situation for everyone!!

Just wanted to let you all know how much I love my sis and the wonderful guy she married. I know Margaret gives Lonnie lots of praise on her blog, but we think he's a pretty great guy too. Glad you're part of our family Lonnie and that we get to be a part of yours by default!! It's been such a blessing to live near you both for the past 4+ years. Can't imagine our kids growing up without each other.

Much love to the Lamps from the Grubbs!!!!!!!!! Happy Anniversary!!!!

Cade is HILARIOUS!!!

Tonight we were at a b-day party for some friends who's daughter turned one. The kids were anxiously awaiting cake, but knew they had to wait until Ally had her cake first. The were looking around...waiting...waiting. Suddenly Cade goes, "Oooh, they're taking her shirt off! I'm going over there!!" Everyone around BUSTS out laughing! Funny how the most innocent ideas can come out oh so wrong! Later, one of our elders (Ally's grandpa) caught Curt's attention and slyly suggested they might need to have a meeting with all the elders next Sunday to discuss "the situation!" Too, too funny!

On another high note, Cade is FINALLY riding his bike! He's still not too keen on the idea most of the time, but he can do it when motivated (especially motivated by the idea of some new Bakugans!)

That's what she said!

So last night Keira was playing with my hair while I was TRYING (notice trying is completely relative with kids around) to have a conversation with Curt and some other friends. She was twisting my hair and it was starting to hurt, so I said "Keira, that hurts...please stop."

She grabs my face in her hands and with her most serious face (about 2 inches from mine) she tells me, "You have to be brave Mom."

Hmmm...where has she heard that before???
