Caden finished 3rd grade, it was pretty great. Keira finished kindergarten and had an amazing year with an amazing teacher. We discovered that Cade is just as messy at school as he is at home, yet still manages to get his work done and done well, so maybe we just need to let it be. On second thought...we all know that won't happen since I'm such neat freak!
January: Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art opened in bentonville in November, but we didn't have a chance to go visit until January. It is so beautiful...a work of art in itself. The kids especially enjoyed the special exhibit they had at that time - WonderWorld. I especially loved this picture of Curt and Keira through a red glass.
February: We only got a small dusting of snow this year, quite a change from the 2 feet we got last year. Even with the small amount of snow, the kids still got one snow day off from school and enjoyed it thoroughly! We also took a mini-vacation to Branson and went to an indoor waterpark which was heaven for the kids. They had so much fun!!
March: Caden turned NINE and celebrated with a few of his friends at Fast Lanes where they go-carted, laser-tagged and video-gamed the afternoon away. When did I get old enough to have a nine year old? It seems like just yesterday he was two and chattering away. I can't believe I almost have a child in double digits!! Time needs to slow down just a little so I can enjoy my munchkins a little while longer. We also took a long weekend trip to Indiana to see Curt's family. It was my first time to meet Reed (adorable!!). The kids had an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma Reed's and enjoyed playing with their cousins. I wish we lived closer so we could see them more often!!!
I love it when the tulips are blooming at the Square. Such a lovely backdrop for family pictures!
