Sorry to all our family and friends...I've been a horrible blogging buddy. Well, that's not 100% true. I've been checking all your blogs, and occasionally commenting on them, I've just had NOTHING to blog about. Here's the last few weeks in a nutshell.
-I started back to school Jan 7. Won a Zune at a career fair and gave it to Curt for his early b-day present. Thank you USA Drug!!
-I've driven home every weekend to see the fam and every Sunday it gets harder to come back to LR.
-Cade got a haircut and no longer looks like Shaggy. Very good news!!
-Keira started back to dance class and is getting better all the time. She loves to let Elmo drive her car, do the Hokey Pokey, and can shuffle-hop-step with the best of them...well, really just the hop-step part, but we're working on shuffling! LOL :)
-An ice storm headed to NW Arkansas on Monday and the kids school closed early on Monday and they were out for the rest of the week. A hard week for Curt and all of our lucky friends and family who got the pleasure of watching our kids all week. Lots of people lost power, including Margaret's fam, but we managed to keep ours...until Thursday. Margaret's house lost power late Tuesday nite, so they came over and crashed at our pad Wednesday and Thursday until we lost power at our house around 11. Curt and the kids were planning on coming to LR on Friday morning, so they decided to leave a day earlier and come join me in my nice warm apartment. Luckily, Margie's house regained power around 2 pm on Thursday, so all was well for them.
-On a bittersweet note, the storm mostly missed LR, so I didn't get to have a snow day even though I would have LOVED one. Bummer for me and all my pharmacy friends who needed a study day.
-I turned the big 3-0 on Thursday. Now I have to finally admit I'm old. Does that mean I have to stop shopping at American Eagle?
-Curt and the kids got to spend my B-day with me and stayed until tonight. I have my first test in what I am SURE will be my hardest class coming up on Mon, so I need all day Sun to CRAM, CRAM, CRAM - and Curt needs to watch the SuperBowl with someone who cares!!!
-The weather here was great and we went to the zoo today. I took tons of pics, unfortunately we left the cable AND the adapter at home so I couldn't upload the pics to my computer. Next week I'll put some up.
Hope you all have a great week, pray for me on Mon at 1 pm. I need to be fast, accurate and brilliant!!! Dad, I'm channeling your organic skills for the test!

Kung Fu Dancing!
Cade got Kung Fu Panda for Christmas and we watched it over Christmas break with the kids and Grands. At the end credits, the song is Kung Fu Fighting...and Cade was busting a move. Through the whole song he was karate chopping and kicking up a storm. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the camera fast enough.
We had friends over on Saturday and the kids wanted to watch it. This time, I had my camera ready for the end.
Anybody want to get this kid tai kwon do lessons???

Christmas morning and fun with the Grands
We had an AMAZING Christmas and a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Willis.
Stockings are fun!!!

Ethan loved his new bath toy!

Thanks Eowyn! The movie was a HUGE hit.

Thanks Parker and Lillie, Keira is bouncing off the walls all day, every day on this thing!!

Cade is learning to tell time and was sooo excited about his new Mickey Mouse watch that says his name.

Grandma and Grandpa loved their calendar. Now they can look at their Grandkids every day of the year!
